The Police Federation of England and Wales, together with the College of Policing, has worked tirelessly to improve investigative training for all officers in this critical area of public safety.
Police officers will be given the opportunity to have their say on what they think of Taser as the Home Office release latest figures showing an increase in use but a decrease in the number of times it has been fired. The survey, launched today, is aimed at gauging officers’ attitudes to issues such as rolling it out to more officers, training and safety issues. The results will directly feed into Police Federation policy and will be the first to focus solely on the less-lethal option.
