    Officers fear letting down the public as they struggle to get to crime scenes or urgent calls for assistance within the 15-minute target due to the lack of a siren on the 109 Vauxhall Corsa patrol cars, according to West Midlands Police Federation. The Federation’s deputy chairman, Tom Cuddeford, and health and safety lead Pete Harkness have spoken out on the issue and have pledged to work with the Force to find a solution.

We have recently taken further advice from leading counsel as to whether the position has changed or is affected by the publication of the Police Pensions Regulations 2015.
