  • ALMOST 600 West Midlands Police officers have been assaulted on duty in the first nine months of this year, according to figures released by the Police Federation. The alarming figures have prompted West Midlands Police Federation, which represents the Force’s constables, sergeants and inspecting ranks, to call on the Government to get tough on those who attack police officers and other emergency service workers.

  • As you may be aware, the Government announced recently that the standard rate of insurance premium tax (IPT) will be increased from 9.5% to 10.0%.
